The Portuguese ace's words didn't go down well inside Real Madrid's locker room, and the captain didn't hold back when talking to the striker.

Cristiano Ronaldo's words right after the end of the UEFA Champions League final made headlines around the world, and surprisingly, some of the team's leaders showed no hard feelings against the striker.

Yes, CR7's timing wasn't the best, but some of those who are close to Cristiano even showed him some support, but he needed to admit he had done something wrong.

According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Ramos had a conversation with Cristiano in the team's locker room, and told him to think twice if he wanted his help.

"Cristiano, your timing was wrong. That wasn't the right thing to do. I know how you feel, don't push it further. Take a step backwards and I'll help you get what you want," Ramos told CR7, according to Marca's source.

Cristiano's rant was fueled by the lack of progress in his contract re-negotiation, which was promised to the Portuguese striker by Florentino Pérez almost a year ago. Ramos is aware of this, and urged the team's all-time top scorer to think twice before making such a statement when everything should be sunshine and rainbows.

"I'll help you out, but help me help you," Ramos added, according to Marca's source.

Sergio Ramos knows he has the leverage to help CR7 strike the deal he wants, but he also knows that Florentino Pérez won't be moved by statements such as the one made by the Portuguese striker. Only time will tell if Cristiano's time at the Bernabeu will come to an end soon, but if we had to make a guess, we'd bet things will not change that much at La Casa Blanca.
