Arsenal need a win, to put it simple. The Gunners sit in sixth, and could miss out on the Champions League for the first time under Wenger if they lose to Man City on Sunday.
There could not have been a worse time for the Gunners to lose first-choice goalkeeper Petr Cech. The north London giants will be without the veteran after picking up a calf injury in their last game before the international break – a 3-1 loss to West Brom.
Lucas Perez and Santi Cazorla are both out, with the latter not expected to feature again this season. However, Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez are both tipped for starting berths.
Guardiola has also received some positive team news. Kevin de Bruyne and Raheem Sterling, two players who picked up knock during the international break, are back in contention. Neither are 100 percent fit, however.
