BUNDESLIGA ROUND-UP: Ancelotti celebrates milestone in style, Aubameyang ends drought, and more from MD 22

Last week was full of some surprises and huge milestones. Bundesliga fans saw the normally calm Carlo Ancelotti lose his head due to some vile spitting from a small section of Hertha Berlin fans. On a more pleasant note, Bayer Leverkusen's Karim Bellarabi wrote himself into the history books by scoring the 50,000th goal in the Bundesliga since its creation.

And matchday 22 certainly did not disappoint. There were goals, goals, and more goals. Let's have a look at what went down across Germany this weekend.

A millennium of matches...celebrated with a unique gift

On Saturday, Bayern crushed Hamburg 8-0. It was really of little surprise, as die Roten have a knack for humiliating die Rothosen at the Allianz Arena. But more important, it was a brilliant way for Ancelotti to celebrate his 1000th game in charge. The former AC Milan, Roma, and Parma midfielder has coached quite a slew of big sides across Europe, including Juventus, Milan, Chelsea, PSG, and Real Madrid.

Ancelotti wasn't the only one celebrating a milestone in the Bayern squad. Manuel Neuer, who is widely regarded as one of the best in the business, also hit an important benchmark as the team cruised to a very comfortable eight-to-nil victory:

Catching up...but still has some ways to go

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang may not have been able to make much of an impact with Gabon as his country hosted the AFCON 2017 tournament, but he surely has no problem scoring in the Bundesliga. Fans will be happy that he has gotten his shooting boots back on, as his brace helped die Schwarzgelben earn a 3-0 win over Freiburg:

Of course, Aubameyang has a long way to go in order to surpass the 168 fired in by Alfred Preissler! It was also the 250th away win for Borussia Dortmund.
