Here's what we learned from round 25 of the English Premier League.

Although one game – Bournemouth vs. Man City – is yet to be played, the latest round of the English Premier League is pretty much wrapped up. Five of the top six clubs have played their games, with the top two having endured disappointing results.

Chelsea were unable to win, drawing with Burnley, whilst Tottenham lost. Under-fire clubs Arsenal and Liverpool both won 2-0, whist Man United registered a precious win by that same score line. Here’s what we learned from round 25 of the English top-flight.

Burnley proved that Conte’s Chelsea are not invincible

What Arsenal could not do, Burnley managed. Although the Gunners didn’t have the luxury of home advantage, the Gunners would have still lost to the Blues had the Emirates been the venue – Gooners won’t debate that.

However, Burnley didn’t teach us that they are a superior side to Wenger’s boys. What we learned from the 1-1 draw with Conte’s side is that Hazard and Co. are not invincible, they are far from it.

Against the Clarerts, Chelsea were unable to get a shot on target in the second half. Due to this result, their lead could be reduced to eight points.

This match shows that Conte’s boys, the best side this season, are not invincible. They are beatable. However, they are still favorites to win the league.

Jose is taking Man United back to its glory, glory days

Jose Mourinho didn’t begin life at Manchester United very well. There were embarrassing losses to Man City and Chelsea, but things have now turned out for the better.

The Red Devils have lost only once in their last 12 games, and that was a League Cup affair which had already been won in the first leg. On Saturday, they beat Watford 2-0 to register an impressive record.

The weekend win at Old Trafford earned Man United their 2000th point in the Premier League, becoming the first club to do so. Although the Portuguese tactician was responsible for only 48 of those points, the future is bright for the 20-time champions under the Special One.
