The Italian veteran led the Giallorossi to a last-gasp win in the Coppa Italia quarter finals, prompting questions about how long he'll keep playing.

Just when Roma enters a crucial tie against Fiorentina, their top gun seems to be ready to lead them to greatness.

After mid-week's Coppa Italia action, which saw Totti score the game-winning goal for the Giallorossi after 97 minutes, the Italian star was shady about his decision to call it quits by the end of the season. Even if he's not getting any younger, Totti could still consider extending his career for one more year.

"I'm just getting ready to play and enjoy these two or three months we have left. Then, the club and I will decide together," Totti revealed after the game.

The 40-year old ace was paid a huge compliment by his coach, Luciano Spalletti, who was dazzled by his penalty-taking skills against Pescara. The Italian tactician also took a jibe at sports fans who snubbed Totti's legacy and influence in Roma's game.

"Totti always makes a run for the big play, the one some don't see. If he's on the pitch, his team-mates have to hand him the ball. He's the greatest, he's the Muhammad Ali of football," Spalletti stated.

Roma will try to bounce back from a heart-breaking loss against Sampdoria on Sunday, in order to keep themselves fighting to win this season's title.
