Real Madrid, in action on Sunday in the last league game before the upcoming international break, surprisingly found themselves trailing at home to Eibar early on in the game.
The home side were behind after only six minutes of play, conceding to a Fran Rico strike. Luckily, Gareth Bale drilled a lovely header to bring Les Merengues back level.
The goal for the Welsh ace will be memorable for a few reasons, one being the fact that it was reminiscent of Champions League final header vs. Atletico Madrid en route to La Decima.
However, the more important reason is that it will see him go down in history, as he became the first British player to score half a century of goals in La Liga. He reached this feat.
Gareth Bale is the first British player to score 50 goals in La Liga.
