Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who once described Pep Guardiola as a spineless coward following their fallout during their days at Barcelona, will be hoping to prove a point against his former boss in this fixture. The outspoken forward once said the Catalan was driving him like a fiat yet he was a Ferrari. The Swede, who has scored three league goals in four appearances for the Red Devils this season, is expected to lead the hunt for goals alongside Anthony Martial and Wayne Rooney.

Pep’s men suffered a huge blow thanks to Aguero’s ban – the Argentine has scored seven league games in eight matches against the Reds, a statistic that proves exactly why he will be missed. But thanks to the hosts’ renewed confidence under the former Real Madrid boss this season, the Mourinho-Zlatan reunion against their mutual enemy Pep, and Pogba’s marauding role at the center of the park, they could cruise to a difficult win here.
But is also worth mentioning that the likes of Raheem Sterling have been impressive under Pep's tutelage so far this season.
