Lionel Messi's return with Argentina had it all. An excruciating match against Uruguay -including his Barça team-mate Luis Suárez-, a goal scoring return and a couple of pitch invaders.
As the game neared its conclusion, a couple of fans entered the pitch of Estadio Malvinas Argentinas to try and share a moment with "La Pulga". The first one got to Messi and took a knee to pay his respects. Messi limited himself to touching his head and shaking his hand.
Moments later, another fan came sprinting towards Messi, but just before he got to him he slipped, causing a bit of concern for Messi's safety. He managed to get up and shared an embrace with his idol, and despite the attempts of security officers to carry him away, Messi kept them calm while waving his fan off.
