Edgardo Bauza, recently appointed as La Albiceleste's boss, will try to work things out with 'La Pulga' in order to have him back with the National Team

Former Sao Paulo coach Edgardo Bauza will have to deal with his first mammoth task as La Albiceleste's new boss: trying to make Lionel Messi re-think his decision about retiring from his National Team.

Even if most Argentinean supporters want Messi back, the newly appointed manager dismissed the idea of having to "beg" for Messi's comeback.

"I'm not here to twist anyone's arm. I'm here to know why he chose to leave the team. I have a good feeling about the meeting," Bauza stated at Barcelona's International Airport.

The Argentine boss ellaborated on what he wants to talk about with the 5-time Ballon D'Or winner, aside from sharing his views about what he wants for La Albiceleste.

"I want to tell him how I want the team to play. I would like to have him around if he feels comfortable playing for us. We'll see if that way he can reconsider his decision," Bauza added.

The Argentinean manager needs to know Messi's decision as soon as possible, since La Albiceleste will continue playing the World Cup Qualifiers against Uruguay and Venezuela.
