The Englishman appears to be back to his best after scoring a beauty against Guadalajara.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain continued his exceptional comeback from a long-term injury by scoring a wonder goal against Chivas de Guadalajara as part of Arsenal’s pre-season tour in the United States.

The match ended 3-1 in favour of the London club, with Chuba Akpom and the newly-signed Rob Holding scoring a goal each. The English midfielder appears to be back to his best since sustaining a knee injury in Arsenal’s Champions League loss to Barcelona.

The serious knock sadly saw the Arsenal long-timer miss out on representing his national side England in the recent Euro 2016 tournament.

“He has been out for a long, long time," Le Prof told Arsenal's official website.

The 22-year-old has since returned in time for Arsenal’s pre-season tour in the States, seeing him contribute two goals so far in three matches.

"[He gives us] power and penetration - he has it all," the Frenchman added. "It's a very important season for him."

Arsenal are set to end their US tour next Sunday followed by their first English Premier League game against Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium.
