Following the reports that French forward Anthony Martial was unhappy with his new shirt number 11, which was handed to him by the club after Zlatan’s arrival, the former Monaco man has reportedly addressed the perceived ‘beef’ between him and the Swede. Zlatan was handed the number nine shirt, which was originally owned by Martial.
The new development sparked rumours of a beef between Martial, Zlatan and Man United. Some sections of the British media had reported that the 20-year-old had not been consulted about losing his trademark shirt number to the outspoken new signing.
Martial’s recent social media activity further sparked rumours of his unhappiness with Man Utd’s decision to give Zlatan the number nine shirt. But according to a trending tweet, the star forward has rubbished claims that he is not happy with the new shirt number.
