This summer's transfer saga seems to have come to an end, as reports from Italy and England suggest Manchester United and Juventus have agreed a record-breaking fee for French midfielder Paul Pogba.
The Sun & L'Equipe reported earlier today that negotiations have been going on all day long, and finally a deal was reached between the two football giants. Paul Pogba will become the most expensive player in football history after Manchester United agreed to pay Juventus €120 million for the player's services.
One more unconfirmed report suggested that Pogba had told his landlord he would vacate his home in the next few days.
According to L'Equipe, Pogba will travel to Manchester to agree personal terms. When that happens, the deal will be announced officially. Reports suggest that the French star will ask for at least £220,000 a week for the next five years.
The midfielder will return to Old Trafford four years after his departure. Pogba decided to leave Manchester United back then due to the lack of first-team opportunities granted by then-coach Sir Alex Ferguson.
A record-breaking report such as this made fans go wild on social media. Here are some of their best comments.
I knew getting Jose wld make Utd a more attractive prospect. But Mkhi, Ibra, Pogba. Never in my wildest dreams. And all without CL football.

Pogba isn't worth £100m but why does the fee matter to rival fans? Worry about your own club. We are rich so we can easily afford it

If Pogba moves to Man Utd, it will be the most expensive transfer in the history of the game but more importantly the most PROFITABLE one.

With Europa football Mourinho has convinced Ibra, micki & Pogba to join his project. Wenger, with UCL, couldn't convince Vardy to join his.
