The Welsh ace had a busy weekend away from the pitch, as he proposed to his fiancee on Saturday night. He will join Real Madrid in the later stages of their pre-season tour.

Gareth Bale's ball handling skills were shown in an advertising campain...and when we say "ball" we're not referring to his work instrument.

The Welsh star participated in an advertising campaign for Sprint 6 Golf, and he shared his performance on Instagram and Twitter. Bale was requested to keep a golf ball in the air for 30 seconds, and even if he started with a golf club, he ended up using his knees and feet to complete the challenge.

Bale is currently enjoying some time off after leading Wales to the UEFA Euro 2016 semi-finals. The player is expected to join Real Madrid later this month, in order to get ready to battle for the UEFA Super Cup against Sevilla.
