Mkhitaryan to Manchester United is a done deal, if the latest activity on the club’s website is anything to consider.

Manchester United fans went into a frenzy as the club accidently confirmed that they had signed Borussia Dortmund star Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The name of the 27-year-old appeared on two of the away shirts posted on the club’s website, presumably on sale ahead of the new season. Upon realizing the error, the website administrators quickly deleted the image but the message was already clear; Mkhitaryan to Manchester United was a done deal.

Reports in Manchester also suggest that the Armenian is set to arrive at Old Trafford on Friday for a series of medicals before the deal is officially announced. Mkhitaryan will be the latest Man Utd signing this season after the acquisition of Eric Bailly from Villarreal and Zlatan Ibrahimovic from PSG.

He joined the Bundesliga giants in 2013 and has since scored 23 league goals in 88 appearances despite playing as an attacking midfielder. The 2016 Bundesliga Players’ Player of the Season is expected to be officially unveiled by the Red Devils anytime soon.
