A do-or-die match for both teams, as A Canarinha and Los Incas battle for one of the spots available for the next stage of the competition.

Brazil and Peru left it all for the final match, and one of them will end up empty handed on Sunday evening. With both teams leading Group B, neither side can afford dropping points if they want to make sure they'll be able to make it to the next round.

Brazil gets to this match after drawing against Ecuador and blowing Haiti out of the water with a 7-1 thrashing. On the other hand, Perú struggled to beat the Haitians by a one-goal difference, and ended up losing a two-goal lead against Ecuador on Wednesday night.

Brazil

A Canarinha silenced some of their critics by doing what they were required against Haiti. A hat-trick by Phillippe Coutinho paved the way for Brazil's first win of the tournament, and immediately boosted their chances of making it to the knockout stage. Nevertheless, Dunga's men have shown to have problems when facing teams with a bit more talent than Haiti, which is Perú's case.

Dunga's crew will rely on Coutinho's skills to win three points against the Peruvians. Liverpool's midfielder had only scored one goal with A Canarinha prior to the start of the tournament, but he is a more mature player than he's ever been. Whatever chances Brazil has of ousting Peru will depend on Coutinho's performance on Sunday evening.

Coutinho and Willian will be crucial to try and beat Perú once more.

Perú

Ricardo Gareca's men wasted a huge chance of sealing their spot in the Quarter-finals, as they saw Ecuador cancel their two-goal lead last Wednesday. Now, Los Incas will have to win at least one point against the Verdeamarelha side, and hope Ecuador doesn't beat Haiti by a two-goal margin in order to make it to the knockout stage.

Peru's not-so-secret weapon on the pitch will be Paolo Guerrero. The Peruvian striker, who has terrorized Brazilian defenders with Flamengo, will have one more chance to lead his team to glory against the South American giants, due to his knowledge of the opposition. Furthermore, his status as Perú's all-time top scorer will surely make him the most important threat for Brazil's chances of progression.

Guerrero won the Copa América goal scoring title in the last two editions.
