This is despite claims from AS that the Spanish goalie will be a Galacticos “within a matter of days”.

Manchester United superstar goalkeeper David De Gea has publicly put to rest rumors of a Real Madrid switch, revealing to Marca his desire to remain at Old Trafford and win silverware with the Red Devils under new boss Jose Mourinho.

The Spanish custodian, gearing up for the upcoming Euro 2016 tournament, hailed the Special One as “a winner” whilst rubbishing rumors that he’s seeking a move to Santiago Bernabeu.

De Gea said: "People talk a lot and they know little. I know how all this works, but what I think is disrespectful is when people start making out that it's something I have said. I've got three more years on my contract with United and the desire to win more titles here.”

Despite boasting an excellent and reliable goalie in between the sticks in the form of Keylor Navas, Les Merengues are still reportedly after David De Gea. These rumors were further fueled by a recent report by AS which claims the Man United custodian will be a Blancos ace “within a matter of days”.

This is after the newly-crowned Champions League winners saw a move for the Furia Roja shot-stopper collapse on the final day due to the infamous faulty fax machine. Regardless, the Spanish news outlet report that Zidane’s side will return back for the 25-year-old this summer.

According to the report by AS, Los Blancos are confident over the existence of a Real Madrid clause in the contract De Gea signed last year which could only be triggered by the Liga BBVA giants for £40m. However, this reported clause is expected to expire on June 15, 2016.
