The Welshman has scored three of Los Blancos last four goals in La Liga, making himself a reliable player during Cristiano Ronaldo's absence.

Once more, Gareth Bale proved his worth for Real Madrid, as the Welsh star gave Los Blancos reasons to believe in a possible La Liga title. His crucial header during the final minutes against Real Sociedad gave Zidane's crew three more points and the top of La Liga with games in hand for Atlético and Barcelona.

Zinedine Zidane chose to rotate most of his starters in order to have them fit for Wednesday's UEFA Champions League match, but Bale was among those who stepped up and delivered just when his team needed him the most.

Curiously enough, Bale has scored almost half of his goals in La Liga with a header. Out of the 19 goals he has scored for Real Madrid, the Welshman has used his head to score a whopping nine times, more than any other player in Europe's Top 5 leagues.

Of course, fans celebrated the Welshman's goal, while experts analyzed his influence in the team's late performances. Have a look below.
