Arsenal midfield star Jack Wilshere could miss the Euro 2016 if found guilty of being part of a brawl that occurred outside a London nightclub on April 2. During the 2 a.m. incident, the injury-prone 24-year-old was in the company of his girlfriend Andriani Michael and other friends. The complainant, who claimed to have been attacked, is said to be a London nightclub promoter. The victim reportedly recorded a statement with the police as investigations continued.
A video footage recorded outside the nightclub also shows the Gunners star hiding his face with his coat as police tried to intervene. One of Wilshere’s friends is heard shouting ''Jack, don’t get nicked’’ as the superstar was being questioned by the authorities. Watch the footage below:
Although he denied committing any criminal offense, he could miss the Euro 2016 if found guilty of participating in the brawl. The product of the Arsenal academy made his first appearance this season for the North Londoners since last year’s FA Cup final in the 0-0 draw with Sunderland last weekend. Despite being out of form and on the path of recovery from surgery, England boss Roy Hodgson is said to be willing to give him a chance to feature in the Euro 2016, but his latest case could hinder the plans.
