Arsenal registered yet another disappointing draw against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.

Olivier Giroud has once again let Arsenal down, if his most recent statistics are anything to go by. The misfiring Frenchman failed to find the back of the net as Sam Allardyce’s men held them to a goalless draw, a result that now leaves Arsenal fighting for a Champions League spot with four matches to the end of the season.

It should be remembered that earlier this year, the Gunners were firmly in the race for the league title, and seemed almost certain of clinching it thanks to their winning run. But after that tragic defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford on February 28th, the Gunners have become a pale shadow of themselves, with Olivier Giroud, the man tasked with the goal-hunting job, making the situation even worse.

To prove exactly how serious the situation is, the Frenchman has now played 13 hours and three minutes without scoring a league goal for the Gunners. That simply means that he has played a total of 801 minutes without a league goal. Surprisingly, his last goal in the Premier League was against Liverpool back in January. Moreover, the 29-year-old has failed to score a goal in 19 of his last 20 games for the North Londoners in all competitions.

Following the disappointing result for the Gunner’s and Giroud’s performance, some Arsenal fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
