Spanish outlet Don Balon reports that Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo could return to his former club Manchester United. However, this would only happen if Los Blancos decide to cash in on what is expected to be a big-money move for the Portuguese goal-machine.
Ronaldo, 31, has been linked with a move to France to join Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain but according to the Spanish outlet, he is not interested in joining the French giants due to their league’s low standards. Therefore, if he decides to leave the Santiago Bernabeu, then Old Trafford could be his most-probable destination.
The newspaper adds that Ronaldo has asked his agent Jorge Mendes about a possible return to the English giants.
CR7 joined the Red Devils from Sporting Lisbon in 2003 and spent six seasons at Old Trafford.
During his tenure at the club, he scored 84 goals in 196 appearances before switching to Spain to join the Madrid giants in 2009. He has since made 234 appearances for Los Blancos and scored 256 goals.
