Real Madrid earned a two-goal lead at Stadio Olimpico two weeks ago, but can they prevail against the Giallorossi? Don't miss the second leg of this UCL tie with our guide below.

After winning the first match 2-0, Real Madrid will try to finish off AS Roma at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, with a number of demons haunting Los Blancos when they look back at previous two-leg series against Serie A clubs.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Jesé gave Zidane's men good cushion for Tuesday's matchup, but Luciano Spalletti's crew has managed to shock Real Madrid previously in the European tournament, so the Spanish giants should be wary about any surprises the Italian tactician has in store for them.

Both teams get to this game in high spirits, as Los Blancos destroyed Celta Vigo with a massive performance by Cristiano Ronaldo, who bagged four more goals. The Giallorossi also added three points to their tally by defeating Fiorentina with a 4-1 score line.

This season has been almost a walk in the park for Real Madrid, as the Spanish giants are yet to lose their first game in the competition. On the other hand, Roma has only been able to win one game, and their record away from home includes two losses and one draw.

Real Madrid

Although Karim Benzema will be one of Real Madrid's high-profile absences for the second leg of this series, coach Zinedine Zidane seems to have all the odds favoring his team, as Luka Modric and Toni Kroos seem set to return with Los Blancos after missing out their game against Celta. Fully aware of Real Madrid's struggles when facing an Italian team, the French boss wants his players fully concentrated on what happens on the pitch tomorrow.

Last season, Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo scored ten goals for Los Blancos. This year, CR7 has already surpassed his tally from the 2014-2015 season, as he tries to reach the 100-goal milestone in the tournament. He is currently the top scorer in the competition.

AS Roma

The Giallorossi could have some sort of surprise in store when they visit Real Madrid on Tuesday, just like the one they performed eight years ago. Even if they are deemed as the underdogs, coach Luciano Spalletti will try to motivate his crew to oust Los Blancos, even if they have to try and pull this off without Daniele De Rossi, Antonio Rudiger and Radja Nainggolan, all out due to injury.

Head to head

This will be the 10th game between these teams, with Real Madrid having the upper hand with five wins and three losses. Two of those three wins for the Giallorossi happened while playing at Santiago Bernabeu, including a 2-1 win back in 2008 to eliminate Real Madrid in the tournament's Round of 16.
