The Portuguese leads the UCL goal scoring list with twelve goals in seven games. He has managed to score seven goals in his 3 most recent games.

On Tuesday, Cristiano Ronaldo left the pre-match press conference in anger after being questioned for his "poor" goal scoring performances away from home this season. 24 hours later, the Portuguese striker scored Real Madrid's first goal against Roma, giving Los Blancos a lead against the Giallorossi that would be extended by Jesé minutes later.

Ronaldo struggled  to make his presence felt in the first half, but he managed to send his first clear chance into the back of the net after dribbling past Alessandro Florenzi, while setting up a right-footed shot that found its way to the top left hand corner. The Italian defender deflected the shot a bit, but Ronaldo's shot was headed to the net, so no own goal was awarded.

Ronaldo ran to the sidelines and celebrated his conquest with coach Zinedine Zidane
