Real Madrid star Karim Benzema was nearly involved in a car crash on his way out of their training ground. A video doing rounds on social media shows the France international driving his white Audi car out of the team’s training ground. He then waves at one of the cameramen surrounding him, only to find himself trapped between a blue Ford and a series of other parked vehicles.
The blue car slows down to pave way for the controversial star, who is almost losing his lane. He then veers back into his lane and speeds off. According to a report published on Sport English, the angry driver of the blue Ford then followed the striker.
Benzema is not new to traffic offenses; on February 3, 2013, he was arrested for driving at 216 kilometres per hour, more than double the recommended speed limit in western Madrid. In the same incident, he was driving an Audi, the club’s official car sponsor.
