When English Premier League giants Manchester United unceremoniously released former Real Madrid man Angel Di Maria to PSG, very few people believed that the Argentine w
ould rise back to stardom. At the French capital, however, the former Real Madrid man is slowly finding his way into the hearts of supporters of Les Parisiens.
On Wednesday night, during their League Cup fixture against Toulouse, the 27-year-old scored the second goal of the match and it was a total screamer. Interestingly, just a few days earlier, he scored yet another stunning goal for Laurent Blanc’s side, consequently raising questions as to whether Man United were justified to sell him.
The English club seem to be living in an era of regrets considering the fact that after releasing the likes of Di Maria and the fan-favorite Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez, Luis Van Gaal’s men seem to be struggling to score goals, while their former players are shinning elsewhere.
Di Maria (below) has now scored 12 goals and provided 12 assists for the French giants this season, while Javier Hernandez has scored 17 goals in 14 games for Bayern Leverkusen..jpg)
