Cristiano Ronaldo could retire at David Beckham’s club, according to reports.

Former Manchester United player David Beckham could offer Cristiano Ronaldo a two-year deal to join his proposed club, Miami MLS team, when the latter quits Real Madrid.

According to The Sun, Ronaldo is planning to retire at the American city of Miami and Beckham, who is the owner and founder of the proposed Miami MLS side, is keen on making the 30-year-old his marquee signing. The two football gods played for Manchester United and Real Madrid, and the former England international will rely on his solid friendship with his Portuguese counterpart to secure his signature.

Portuguese daily Correio da Manha also quoted a source close to the Los Blancos superstar as saying:

“In the future he wants to live in Miami. It’s his favourite city and where he feels at home, much more so than in Madrid, England or even Madeira (his home town).’’

“It has all the luxuries he could ever want.''

“He’d like to have his family near him but he understands that for his mum and his siblings living far from Madeira would be difficult.’’

He added:

“For Cristianinho it wouldn’t be difficult to adapt, as he studies in an English school and speaks the language fluently.”

Ronaldo has scored 14 goals in 18 appearances for Los Blancos this season in La Liga.
