According to The Guardian, Van Gaal now faces an acid test against Premier League sides Stoke City and Chelsea. Failure to win those two crucial matches, the Dutch tactician will be shown the door at Old Trafford.

The former Ajax and Barcelona tactician will be forced to work around the clock to ensure two crucial wins for the clubs, despite facing major injury problems and a visibly blunt attack.
