The latest transfer rumours from England suggest that Liverpool are preparing to sign Swansea’s hitman Andre Ayew.

Liverpool are willing to make a daring move for the Ghanaian in a bid to boost their attack, reports the Mirror. Ayew arrived at the Liberty Stadium on a free transfer from French League 1 side Marseille and has six goals to his name in 13 Premier League appearances this season. He has been providing some sterling performances for his side alongside the deadly Bafetimbi Gomiz.

In a recent interview with RMC, the 25-year-old, who is also the son of Ghanaian legend Abedi Pele, revealed that he was thinking of making a higher step in his football career. His latest revelations indicated that he was willing to move out of the club during the January transfer season, something that has put Liverpool on high alert.

During the interview, he revealed:

"Swansea gave me everything that I wanted, in terms of football and financially. Now, I am ambitious and we will see what happens."

Meanwhile, Liverpool are also planning to sign West Ham United forward Manuel Lanzini who is on loan from Al Jazira Club. However, the Argentine has confirmed that he is willing to stay at Upton Park, but a lucrative deal could lure the 22-year-old to Anfield.

Lanzini celebrated scoring against Liverpool in a previous Premier league match on August 29, 2015.

'‘I heard the president [David Gold] say that the club wants me to stay. I am fine here.''

He added:

'‘It’s an absolute honour that a team like Liverpool has put an eye on me but at the moment I am focused on the match against Tottenham. It’s a good team to play against.’'
