The German superstar etched his name in history, as Bayern marched on to a 4-0 victory.

Bayern Munich’s clash with Olympiacos in the Champions League was a routine win for the Bavarians, as they brushed aside their Greek opponents to clinch all three points.

The Bundesliga leaders hosted Erythrolefki at the Allianz Arena, hammering four past Marco Silva’s crew to seal an easy 4-0 win.

Thomas Muller made the score sheet, alongside Douglas Costa, Robert Lewandowski, and 19-year-old Kingsley Coman; however, Tuesday’s triumph marked a special occasion for their German midfield ace.

The victory saw Muller set a new Champions League recording, becoming the youngest player ever in the tournaments history to reach 50 wins, at the age of 26 and 72 days.

The Champions League, Bundesliga, and World Cup winner surpassed the record previously held by Real Madrid legend Raul, who reached this exact same feat at the age of 26 years and 257 days.

The win over Olympiacos, Bayern’s fourth out of five European ties, guarantees progression to the next round and first-spot finish.

However, manager Pep Guardiola revealed after the game that his side was not perfect, despite them running riot in Tuesday’s game.

"I am very happy," the Spanish tactician said. "We now have the Champions League in the pocket until February.

"The players have a great mentality, but we were not perfect with the ball, we lost many easy balls."
