The talented Bayern Munich midfielder is only 20 years of age but he can already look back at his recent achievements with a big smile on his face. Only few may believe that Muller was actually experiencing his 7th appearance for Germany at a senior level when he featured against Argentina in the quarter-finals of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
The young player – whom could deservingly scoop the 2010 World Cup Best Young Player award – made his mark since the first Match-day with a great goal against the Socceroos of Australia.
Amazingly, Thomas Muller ridiculed England’s defense with a brace against the Three Lions in the Round of 16. In the quarter-finals, he went on to hit the Albicelestes of Argentina with an early goal that help the Germans to set the bar high over the Argentines’ reach as they humiliated them with a 4-0 victory.
