Sources indicate the Swedish striker will play in the MLS once his contract with PSG expires next year. The player stated yesterday he wants to keep making history with PSG.

Even after becoming PSG's all-time top scorer this Sunday, Zlatan Ibrahimovic's future with the team is still the subject of controversy.

Sources revealed today that the Swedish striker, considered to be one of the best footballers in recent years, will be leaving Les Parisiens next summer to join Orlando City SC. According to Italian site Tuttomercato, "Ibra" has kept in touch with the club's chairmen, who are also interested in signing Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo. Ibrahimovic would sign with one of the MLS' newest clubs in a multi-million dollar deal, becoming one of the team's designated players next season.

This is not the first time Ibrahimovic has been linked to a move to the United States. Months ago, a Swedish newspaper hinted that despite Ibra's claims about a possible move back to his home country, the tall striker's intention was to join an MLS side, since he found that league competitive enough to show off his skills.

Ibra's contract with PSG expires next summer, and even though he has stated he wants to keep playing for the Ligue 1 champions, his future will be questioned until he announces a new deal with the French outfit.
