England is the leader and San Marino is last place in Group E. A win for England would secure their spot in the Euro Cup.

San Marino is currently the worst team in Group E and they are about to host the team that ranks on the top of that group in a game where two opposites collide. 17 points separate both teams involved in this game, so on paper there is only one clear favorite, while on the field, anything can happen.

England cruised to victory the last time these two teams met. 5-0 was the final result at Wembley Stadium. It was their fifth straight win against San Marino in five games, including two of them on the road. In those five matches, England has scored 31 times while only receiving one.

The visiting side has not lost any of their last 25 qualifying games. The last time they left a game with a negative outcome was in 2009 against Ukraine by 1-0. Their last Euro Qualifying defeat was against Croatia (3-2) in 2007.

Wayne Rooney is just one game away from matching Sir Bobby Charlton's record of goals scored for England. The Manchester United striker has 48 goals so far. He will be playing alongside Harry Kane, a player named "PFA Best Young Player" of the past season who came in second in the EPL goalscoring chart.

While this has not been the best start to his season with the Spurs, Kane believes that the time will come for him to score more goals. He had the chance to score in his debut with England 79 seconds after he came into the game. The Three Lions won 4-0 that time against Lithuania.

With Danny Welbeck out for a few more months due to a knee injury, Kane's importance in the roster of Roy Hodgson is expected to rise. The manager has not only challenged his team to win Group E, but to start thinking about winning the Euro Cup in France next year.

San Marino has only scored once against England. In this Euro Qualifiers, they have received a total of 19 goals and have not scored a single one. Estonia is five points ahead of them, so even a win would keep San Marino at the bottom of the group.

It was actually Estonia the team that beat them in their most recent game by 2-0. Their 5-0 against England was not even their worst outcome. Before playing against Estonia, San Marino faced Slovania and lost by 6-0 while playing on the road.

A win would definitely be a shocker for everyone in the group. A win from San Marinoo would benefit Switzerland as they could close the gap between the two leaders of the group. Right now, Switzerland is six points behind England. If Hodgson's team lost and they won, only three points would separate both sides with four games remaining.

Disciplinary Report

There are quite a few players that are just one card away from missing the next game. Manuel Battistini, Alex Gasperoni, Mirko Palazzi, Danilo Rinaldi, Andy Selva and Davide Simoncini are under that situation for San Marino. The only player with a warning for England is Raheem Sterling.
