Coach Carlos Dunga has not lost an ounce of faith despite the absence of his star player. Prior to the Quarter-final game against Paraguay, the former midfielder referred to Neymar's absence in a press conference, where he stated his belief thateven though some experts consider this version of Brazil's National Team is not talented enough, there have been times where the squad has enjoyed the antics of some skillful players that ended up empty-handed.
According to Dunga, Neymar's absence will surely represent a serious blow, but their main focus has to be stopping the well-planned Paraguayan tactics, a side that usually makes the best of their set pieces situations.
"We are training to make the most of our situations, regardless of what they do. Football is full of mistakes, you can't always be right. We have to study our opponent and learn how to damage them. We have to take on each opponent and study them one at a time. (About Neymar) It's useless to keep thinking about it, we have to keep working regardless of what people think. We have to point out that this National Team wasn't able to win the tournament in over 40 years, and we had some talented players. It surely tells you how tough it is to win the Copa América, and we will take that responsibility gladly."
