Germany will face France at the Stade Olympique on Friday, the 26th of June. Check the live TV and online streaming broadcast listings for Germany vs France below.

Both the 2007 World champions Germany as well as France recorded comfortable victories when they faced Sweden and Korea Republic respectively during their Round of 16 matches. Germany registered a 4-1 victory thanks to a brace from Šašić, whereas Mittag and Marozsan also struck in either half.

Simone Laudehr who scored in the final against Brazil in the World Cup 2007 has now established herself as one of the team's top performers. She produced an industrious performance against Sweden last time out contributing to offensive as well as her defensive duties.

The 28 year expressed her delight over the team's performance in their last outing and is hoping they can produce similar results in the latter part of the tournament.

“I wouldn’t have expected such a clear result, but I had a good feeling before the match, both for me and the team as a whole,” the 1. FFC Frankfurt player said.

“I’m always motivated to do my best,” she added, “but form on the day is definitely a factor. I generally want to be bold and push forward and create opportunities for my team-mates, but also make some moves of my own. It was a lot of fun and I was really happy with how the game played out.”

Laudehr however claimed that her side needed improvements before the all important match against France and insisted that they must be more clinical infront of the goal and be more cautious defensively.

“We’ve still got to work on our defence and positioning, and we’ve also got to make sure we convert our chances more clinically in the next match,” she stated.

The midfielder herself failed to get on the score sheet but maintained that winning the match was still top priority,

"I got the feeling today that the goalkeeper was dead set against me getting a goal,” the midfielder said

“But if it’s not me, then somebody else just needs to score instead. What matters most is that we win.”

France on the other hand have now scored eight goals in their last two games without conceding any. Their 5-0 mauling of Mexico was followed by a 3-0 win over Korea Republic last time out and les Bleus will surely be hoping to give the 2007 World Champions a run for their money. Forward Marie-Laure Delie was on the score sheet twice in the match taking her tally to three for the tournament, whereas midfielder Élodie Thomis also got herself on the score sheet.

The goal scoring duo along with the tournament joint top scorer Eugenie Le Sommer will now be hoping to do better than the German attack in what promises to be an exciting match.
