The 22-year old signed with the Reds following the conclusion of his contract with Burnley. Terms of the agreement were not revealed.

After trying to sign the player during the last transfer window, Liverpool has finally agreed on terms with English striker Danny Ings. Ings scored eleven goals for Burnley during his first season playing in the English Premier League,  with the player deciding to join the Reds even with a 12 million pound deal to join Real Sociedad.

Pending a medical, the player will join Anfield Road's owners on July 1, after he ends his commitment with the English U-21 squad, which will be competing in the European championship later this month.

"Liverpool FC are delighted to announce that they have agreed personal terms with Danny Ings and, subject to a medical, the striker will join the club on July 1 after his contract with Burnley has expired," the club reported in their website.

Liverpool had a hard time replacing striker Luis Suarez, who left the team to join Barcelona. Steven Gerrard was the Reds' top scorer this year, while all of their forwards were not able to perform correctly for Brendan Rodgers' side, ending fifth in this Premier League season.

Liverpool could be one of the teams looking to add some talent to their squad this summer, since there are some players like Raheem Sterling who coud be leaving the club.
