The Welshman has been the target of harsh criticism by Real Madrid fans throughout the season, particularly after his display against Barcelona and Juventus last night.

It seems that Gareth Bale became the favorite target for fans to vent their frustration. After their elimination from the UEFA Champions League, the Welshman was once again confronted by Real Madrid's supporters while he left the team's parking lot, in a scene that is quickly becoming usual. Bale did not have an easy night against Juventus, missing all of his seven attempts towards Gianluigi Buffon's net, and wasted a close-range header as time ran out for Los Blancos.

As Bale left the stadium, a couple of fans insulted the player. Bale was so disrupted that he took a wrong turn and was forced by a policeman to redirect his car into the right direction.

Fans: "Bale! You mother f****r!" "Answer, son of a b***h!"

Interviewed after the game, Bale acknowledged he still has things to improve in his general game.

There have been some ups and downs but personally I think I’ve played well. I’ve maybe not scored as many important chances as I’d like but my general play has been good. My finishing is not as good and that’s something to work on for next year. What doesn’t kill me makes me stronger and I’ll learn from this season and take it on," Bale stated.

The Welsh player, who owns the record for the most expensive transfer of all time, has been heavily rumored to be leaving Los Blancos this summer to join Manchester United or Chelsea.
