According to the latest transfer rumors, Serie A duo Juventus and Inter Milan are looking into acquiring the Dutchman's service.

Three years after leaving Arsenal for Manchester United, Dutch striker Robin Van Persie looks to have reached the end of his time at Old Trafford.

The 31-year-old attacker, who won the English Premier League for the first time in his first season with the Red Devils, has been unable to recapture the form that saw his score 26 goals in one season, managing only 12 the following season, and 10 in this campaign so far.

Currently out with an ankle ligament injury, Van Persie, despite having worked well under Louis Van Gaal in the 2014 World Cup, has been unable to impress the Dutch tactician since his arrival at the Theatre of Dreams.

With only one year left to his contract, Manchester United will sit down with Van Persie, but are willing to listen to offers, as reported by the Daily Mail, with Serie A duo Inter Milan and Juventus believed to be front-runners for his signature.

Misfit striker Radamel Falcao, on loan at Manchester United, also appears headed for the Old Trafford exit, having only scored four times, as he is expected to return to Monaco when his season-long deal is completed.

With the striking duo set for a Manchester United exit, Van Gaal looks to reignite the club's interest in PSG ace Edinson Cavani. The Uruguayan, who joined the Ligue 1 giants for £50m in 2013, is rumored to have grown frustrated with life with team-mate Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

However, with the Swedish talisman's future at PSG in doubt, Laurent Blanc will most probably hold onto the former Napoli attacker, dousing the Red Devils' hopes of landing Cavani.
