The German brand returns to sponsor the team for the first time since 1992.

Adidas attempt to keep the design for the Manchester United 2015-2016 season jerseys as a secret has failed by now. The German brand recently signed a world-record £750m 10-year-deal with United.

Images of their possible new home and away kits are circulating the Internet today. It was expected to remain a secret until the official unveiling in the summer. Unfortunately, someone had other plans and now they are the talk of the town.

Adidas will replace NIKE, who had been with the team ever since 1993. Before that, the brand of the three stripes was in charge of designing the Red Devils kits from 1980 to 1992.

The new design, based on the leaked images show a more retro look than the one Nike had been using recently. It actually reminds fans of how they looked back in the 1980’s.

Chevrolet remains as the main sponsor being showcased on the shirt. Manchester United is currently trying to qualify for the Champions League. If they fail to do so, the club will reportedly lose £22.5 million from the Adidas deal.

What has been leaked might not be the final product, but something really similar to it. It is considered to be one of the most anticipated kit-launches in the club’s history.
