Fox Sports to provide 18 top soccer matches over the next six days

FOX Sports continues its unprecedented commitment to soccer over the next six days, televising 18 highly anticipated domestic and international matches from Saturday, March 7 through Thursday, March 12. Included in the robust schedule are matches from the FA Cup 6th Round, Algarve Cup, UEFA Champions League Round of 16, UEFA Europa League and Major League Soccer.  MLS on FOX Sports 1 kicks off Sunday evening with a prime time doubleheader that features a pregame interview with league commissioner Don Garber.

The action starts Saturday with two matches from England’s FA Cup, featuring top teams from the Premier League, followed by the lone fixture on Sunday, March 8 with Liverpool taking on Blackburn Rovers (11:30 AM ET). Later that day, the 2015 MLS season opens on FOX Sports 1 as Sporting KC faces the New York Red Bulls at Sporting Park in Kansas City (7:00 PM ET) followed by the Seattle Sounders hosting the defending Eastern Conference Champion New England Revolution in the nightcap at 9:30 PM ET.
 
Women’s international soccer takes center stage on Monday, March 9, as Brazil, featuring Marta, one of the best women’s soccer players in the world, takes on top-ranked Germany in the prestigious Algarve Cup at 1:30 PM ET on FOX Sports 1. Coverage begins with a 30-minute pregame show at 1:00 PM ET.

Immediately following the Algarve Cup, the FA Cup 6th round resumes and is highlighted by a massive encounter between Manchester United and Arsenal on 3:30 PM ET on FOX Sports 1.

The star-studded week continues with more top talent and teams as the UEFA Champions League Round of 16, second leg matchups commence. Reigning champion Real Madrid battles Schalke on Tuesday, March 10 (3:00 PM ET), while almost simultaneously, Porto and Basel face off on FOX Sports 2. Wednesday’s slate on FOX Sports 1 begins with the U.S. Women’s National Team placement match in the Algarve Cup at 12:30 PM ET, followed by more UEFA Champions League knockout rounds as Chelsea and Paris St. Germain clash, plus German giant Bayern Munich also looks to progress to the quarterfinals (3:00 PM ET).

The week’s nonstop soccer action across FOX Sports’ networks wraps up with the first leg of the UEFA Europa League Round of 16 on Thursday, March 12, with Inter Milan, Everton and Roma all in action.
