The Colombian striker wants to fill Louis Van Gaal's expectations so he can score a permanent deal with the Red Devils.

After being signed on a loan deal from Monaco, Radamel Falcao seems to be getting back to his previous form. The Colombian striker has started the previous five matches for Manchester United, scoring two goals and finally giving fans something to talk about. Falcao spoke to the team's website and thanked fans for their support even when things were not going the way he wanted.

"First of all, I'd say thank you so much for the way the fans have treated me. Then I'd want to wish them a happy 2015 and I hope that we can bring them some happiness. The people have been great with me, with my family. We're happy and very grateful," Falcao stated.

Asked about how his team-mates have treated him, Falcao praised them for being so humble and helpful when he arrived to Manchester. The former Porto and Monaco player also revealed his enthusiastic celebrations intend to thank his colleagues for all they've done for him and his family.

"Right from the start, they welcomed me. They supported me and helped me with whatever I needed. They are a really humble group of players, really decent and, well, I was taken aback by how kind they've been. I place a lot of value in the hard work that we have to put in for each goal and I know just how much effort it requires, so that's why I celebrate like that," he added.

Falcao compared the French league and the Premier League, establishing a clear difference between them.

"It's more attractive than the French league. Defenders are stronger and more aggressive. In a good way, you know? It's intense and, well, overall just more physical," he concluded.
