The Gunners coach is still seething after his side's throwing away a 2-1 lead against a 10-man Liverpool.

Following their last-minute concession against Liverpool this past weekend, Arsenal were slammed by fans and the media alike.

The Gunners were leading 2-1 against a 10-man Liverpool side until Martin Skrtel popped up with a vital equalizer to deny them from earning all three points.

And now, Arsene Wenger, who has been himself the subject of some criticism has come out to slate his own defenders and shocking has admitted that there is little or poor communication between his team's back-line.

Per Mertesacker was one who was the subject of a lot of questioning, and the French tactician has come out to shed some somewhat disconcerting insight into what has been going on within the team.

"They should be talking. Maybe they do talk but it doesn’t look like that when you look at the pictures. Of course it’s important to have someone organising [the defense]," he mused.

“Sometimes it’s just one yard forward or backward that makes a difference. You want somebody to take charge."

Currently in sixth place, Arsenal will hope to pick up some points as they take on QPR and West Ham in their last two games of 2014.
