Manchester City's payback was completed today against Sunderland today. Last season, a loss to Gus Poyet's men nearly cost the Citizens too much during their quest to last year's title, but now Manuel Pellegrini's crew managed to beat the Black Cats with another great performance by Sergio Aguero, who confirmed his lead in the goal scoring department.
Things were not easy for the Sky Blues, as Connor Wickham put Sunderland ahead with his goal after 19 minutes. But the Black Cats' joy wouldn't last long, since Agüero equalized just two minutes later. Before the half ended, Stevan Jovetic managed to put Manchester City ahead, being assisted by Agüero for the 2-1 lead.
After the break, Manchester City attacked Costel Pantilimon's net relentlessly, earning a two goal lead with a wonderful finish by Pablo Zabaleta, who flicked the ball over the goalkeeper's head. The Citizens were closer to scoring a fourth goal against a not-so-motivated team, and eventually did via Sergio Aguero's second goal of the evening.
This was Manchester City's first win at Stadium of Light since 2008, which will help them keep their second place in the Premier League this season. Find out what fans had to say about this match below.

Honestly this is magic stuff to watch. Pellegrini has a lot to do with that. He's changed the mentality of the side when going one down.

If only Jovetic stays fully fit, we will be sweeping the goals in
