Manuel Pellegrini's men scored twice in the last ten minutes to earn their first victory in this season's group stage against Bayern Munich

Manchester City were about to be eliminated of the UEFA Champions League knockout stage, but Sergio Aguero's marvelous performance propelled the English champions to the second place in Group E, giving them the chance to play against Roma for a spot in the UCL's Round of 16.

Bayern Munich did not have an easy outing today at Etihad Stadium, after watching Moroccan defender Mehdi Benatia being sent off after committing a penalty. Aguero transformed the opportunity to put the Sky Blues ahead of the German champions, but two late goals in the first half by Xabi Alonso and Robert Lewandowski raised some doubts concerning the English champions' future in the competition.

After the halftime break, Bayern dominated the midfield and enjoyed a few chances to broaden their lead, but Guardiola's men were not able to make any of them count.

Just when the game was approaching its final minutes, Sergio Aguero managed to score his second goal of the evening, giving the Citizens some hope for the final minutes. But before the final whistle, Aguero took the ball just outside Bayern's penalty box, carried the ball inside and finished with class as Manuel Neuer approached him. This was Aguero's third shot on goal for this match, all of them went in.

Some fans praised Aguero's performance, others can't forgive Manuel Pellegrini, and there are some that troll Pep Guardiola. Want to see what fans had to say about this game? Scroll down and find out!
