Crystal Palace vs Liverpool will be featured in the Premier League on Sunday, the 23rd of November at the Selhurst Park.

The fixture last season ended Liverpool's title aspirations as the Red's surrendered a 3-0 lead with the match ending in a 3-3 draw in May earlier this year. The draw against Palace was followed by a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Chelsea which furthered hindered the club attaining only its first Premier League crown.
However this season Liverpool have seemed a shadow of the side last season and will have different goals ahead of the kick off at Selhurst Park. In 11 matches Brendan Rodger's men have managed just four victories and as a result are 11th in the league table.

To make matters worse for Liverpool, the Reds have been without their star striker Daniel Sturridge who was expected to make his return in the near future but has experienced yet another setback. Whereas new signing Mario Balotelli has failed to create any kind of impression, but despite a dry run of spell in front of the goal, the Italian is unfazed by all the criticism he has received.

"The goals, they will come," he said. "It is something that's just not coming at the moment. But it's not something that has just gone.

"Run, like I'm running now, I've never run like this.

"I don't need people to believe in me so long as I believe in myself. The important people for me are my family and my few close friends, as long as they believe in me.

"Some think because I didn't score and didn't start well this season that I can't be one of the top players, a really good player for this team. That's their business.

"I don't care what stories people say about me because I know they are lying."

The former AC Milan striker however is a doubt for Sunday's game after picking up an injury during the international break. Midfielder Jordan Henderson will also have a late fitness test to determine his participation in the match.

Crystal Palace on the other hand are winless in their last five matches having lost four of them. Their antics have left them 19th in the Premier League table, one point better off rock bottom side QPR. However the Eagles enjoyed a more productive outing in their last game against United when they suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat at the hands of the Red Devils courtesy of a deflected winner from Juan Mata.
