The Gunners were not able to hold their lead against the Belgian side. If they lose against Dortmund on Nov 26, then their next round hopes would be at risk.

Arsenal fans can't complain about their team not giving them cardiac games, even though things don't always go their way. Tonight, Arsene Wenger's team was not able to hold on to a 3-0 lead, giving Anderlecht the chance to tie the game in the dying seconds of the match.

Things seemed to be a walk in the park for Arsenal after Mikel Arteta scored his first ever Champions League goal via a penalty kick. Four minutes later, Chilean sensation Alexis Sanchez scored the second goal for the Gunners, but things were about to turn around during the next hour.

The Belgian team started pressing Arsenal, and even enjoyed a few chances before Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored the third goal at the 58th minute mark for Le Prof's team. Nevertheless, Anthony Vander Borre put Anderlecht back in the game with his first goal of the evening just two minutes later.

Anderlecht kept attacking Szczesny's net, and had their efforts working with Vanden Borre's second goal, this time through a penalty kick. Arsenal tried to carry the game, giving Lukas Podolski playing time for the second UCL match in a row, but it seemed the Belgians had the game going for them. Just before the game ended, Andy Najar put the ball inside Arsenal's box for Aleksandar Mitrovic to head into the Gunner's net, giving the purple and white team a much deserved point.

Clearly, Arsenal fans are not enjoying their team's latest result. Read some of their reactions below.
