Since taking over at Liverpool in 2012, Brendan Rodgers has made quite a few signings. But which ones have been a success?

Since taking over at Liverpool in the summer of 2012, Brendan Rodgers has seen many players come and go during his two-season (and counting) spell at Anfield.

The former defender has not been shy in splashing the cash, either, with the 41-year-old reportedly spending over £215 million during his tenure thus far.

This past summer, the large windfall received from talismanic striker Luis Suarez's sale was invested to bring in players like Southampton trio Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana, and Dejan Lovern, Milan's Mario Balotelli, Sevilla's Alberto Moreno, and Benfica's Lazar Markovic among others.

However, the Reds, who finished last season in an impressive second and are now featuring in the Champions League for the first time in five seasons, have had an indifferent start to the 2014/2015 Premier League campaign and currently sit in 7th place.

And Saturday's poor showing and loss to Newcastle has now brought more increased criticism on the manager and some of his signings who have failed to ignite, with Balotelli being scapegoated in particular for failing to live up to his £16 million price tag.

Overall, though, does he have a good track record? Below, a table of his signings as per Eurosport and how they rate the players he has brought in since 2012:

Interestingly, they have already written off the aforementioned Balotelli, as well as fellow new signings Lambert and Moreno. Indeed, the only players the report rates highly are Daniel Sturridge and Philippe Coutinho, both of whom dealt with frustration at Chelsea and Inter respectively prior to joining Liverpool.
