The Italian striker arrived this summer to Liverpool, having scored only one goal with the Reds against Bulgarian side Ludogorets in a UCL match.

Italian striker Mario Balotelli revealed today that he feels "a bit lonely" in the box, urging his team to change their tactics to make his performances better. The controversial player arrived to Anfield Road this summer, following Luis Suarez's departure to Barcelona, but has only been able to score once against Bulgarian Ludogorets, in Matchday One of the UEFA Champions League.

"I have to spend more time near the opposing team's goal. If it were my choice, I would play with two strikers, but Brendan (Rodgers) asked me to play as the only one up front. It's hard for me to be alone inside the box, because I can't cover it all, even though I'm used to play almost everywhere on the pitch," Balotelli stated.

Regarding the club's dubious start, "Super Mario" shared his confidence on how they will try to turn things around:

"You have to take a look at some of the players here; they are truly marvelous! We just have to click with each other to bring in good results. We have had a not so good start, but we have what it takes to get better soon," Balotelli added.

Liverpool are nine points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea, currently standing at the 9th position.
