As per reports, the former Red Devils and Everton manager could be once again back in coaching with another big European team.

His time with Manchester United certainly isn't one too remembered fondly by legions of Red Devils supporters.

For the first time in ages, the Premier League giants are not competing in any kind of European football this season due to their dismal performance last season, and a vast majority of the blame is placed squarely on former manager David Moyes.

The ex-Everton boss was hand selected by the outgoing Sir Alex Ferguson to take over at the start of the 2013/2014 campaign, but his tenure at Old Trafford was nothing short of a nightmare as he was eventually sacked near the end of the season with Ryan Giggs taking over for the last couple of games remaining.

Disaster: Moyes' reign at Old Trafford was beset by failures from start to finish

Meanwhile, Inter, which are the team linked with giving Moyes his next job, have struggled since their historic treble in 2010 under Jose Mourinho that saw them win the Champions League. Ever since the Portuguese tactician departed, the Milan giants have endured a merry-go-round on the coach's bench, with the likes of Rafa Benitez, Leonardo, Gian Piero Gasperini, Claudio Ranieri, and Andrea Stramaccioni all passing though the door before finally settling on former Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri.

However, Mazzarri's position is widely reported throughout Italy to be under threat due to the Nerazzurri's poor performances so far this season and it's believed that should he fail to beat his former team once Serie A resumes, he will be shown the door.

Furthermore, Moyes continues to fuel speculation as it was reported that not only will he be in attendance at the upcoming Inter-Napoli clash but he also mentioned the following in a recent interview with Telegraph Sport:

"I'm ready to come back, although I haven't set any specific time table for my return.

"However, I'm a football man and I want to get back to work...I believe that I'm a [relatively] young manager who has a lot to learn and has ideas I want to put into practice.

"I definitely feel more mature than I did [before] taking over at Manchester United and that was not an opportunity that I could give up and it was an experience that helped me to grow even though everything did not always go the right way all the time.

"[In any case], I'm ready for an experience abroad."
