One of the most exciting matches during World Cup Qualifiers in the CONCACAF area was Mexico against Panama. These two sides will relive that match when they face in the Mexican city of Queretaro.

Their last home game against Panama -curiously, celebrated one year ago- was headed in the same direction, but in the final minutes, a great "chilena" by rising star Raul Jimenez gave Mexico three decisive points to reach the play-off against New Zealand. Panama's heart-breaking loss proved too much for them, losing their World Cup chances in this game.
After the World Cup, Miguel Herrera is trying to make his mark with Mexico. The former Club America coach has been testing new players since they have a pretty tight schedule next year. Their last match against Honduras ended with a 2-0 victory, with goals by Javier Hernandez and newcomer Oswaldo Alanís. For this match, Herrera revealed Toluca's goalkeeper, Alfredo Talavera, will replace World Cup starter Guillermo Ochoa, among other substitutions.
After failing to earn a spot in the UNCAF's Final Four, Panama will start their run for Russia 2018 led by historic coach Hernan "Bolillo" Gomez. "Los Canaleros have only been defeated in one of the last five games against Mexico, but have as a pending subject earning their first win in Mexican soil.
