Coach Martino may reconsider Tevez's return with the National Team, and spoke about how his days with Barcelona were harder on him.

Argentinian coach Gerardo Martino spoke at a press conference about his time as Barcelona's head coach, while talking about a possible call up for Carlos Tevez, absent from Argentina's National Team for the past two years.

Alejandro Sabella's replacement remembered how hard it was to get his players performing the way he wanted:

"I was amazed they had never heard about me or what I did before. You can expect the gardener not knowing who I was, but you don't think someone who's in the business will disregard all your previous work," Martino said.

About his responsibility on the team not winning any trophies last year, Martino recognized being ashamed of that matter:

"I felt guilty, it's hard not to feel that way when you get to a team that's always winning, and precisely when you arrive things don't go that way. I was the one everybody blamed for every circumstance surrounding the team, whether they were real or not," Martino stated.

On another subject, Argentina's boss spoke about the possibility of having Carlos Tevez back with La Albiceleste, even though rumors indicate a harsh relationship between the Juventus striker and players like Lionel Messi and Sergio Agüero:

"There are certain matters the players can't take into their own hands. Just because five or six players agree with an idea it's not necessarily a right one. You have to appeal to your common sense and decide accordingly. Tevez can fit perfectly in my formation as a center forward, there is no other placer for him in my formation," coach Martino answered.

Tevez may return to the National Team for October's international break.
