The French striker put his side 3-0 up against Manchester City as Arsenal cruised to clinch their first trophy of the 2014-2015 season

It took them quite a few seasons, but Arsenal finally clinched their first trophy in nine years when they won the FA Cup last season.

After starting off brightly, the Gunners suffered a mid-season implosion and struggled during the second half of their domestic campaign, barely scraping by into a fourth placed finish, much to the disappointment of their fans.

However, this season, expectations are high of Arsene Wenger's men to try to put up a good fight for some silverware, and they have started things off well by seeing off reigning Premier League champions Manchester City in today's FA Community Shield.

Arsenal headed into half time with a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Santi Cazorla and Aaron Ramsey, and Olivier Giroud sealed the trophy for his side with this fantastic long range strike that left Willy Caballero stranded.
